Purple Hawk Country Club is a championship 18-hole semi-private golf course that is open to the public and located 3.5 miles north of Cambridge on the west side of highway 65, about a one hour drive from the Twin Cities. 

The course plays to a par 72 for men, and par 74 for women. The yardage for the course ranges from 5,748 to 6,679. 

"The Hawk" strives to provide a fun and challenging golf experience for golfers of all abilities, and has a full service pro shop with professional club fitting, a complete driving range, a practice bunker and two practice greens.  Our operation offers PGA and LPGA individual and group lessons and has great packages for corporate and group outings.

Golf Digest Magazine rated Purple Hawk 4.5 stars for the 2000-01 seasons.  Maximum Golf Magazine rated Purple Hawk as one of the top 100 best value courses in the United States.  According to the Minnesota Golf Magazine the Purple Hawk is considered one of the "best kept secrets" in the north metro.

GENERAL INFORMATION:

• Metal spikes are prohibited at Purple Hawk Country Club.
• All players must have their own set of clubs.
• Personal carry on coolers is prohibited.  All refreshments and food must be purchased from the Purple Hawk.  No outside food or beverages are permitted.
